Focus
My laboratory is mainly focusing on studying the molecular roles
of transcription factor CCAAT/enhancer binding protein delta (C/EBPdelta).
Research Projects
The main projects are
1) Molecular characterization of C/EBPdelta in maintaining genomic stability
in mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs);
2) The role of C/EBPdelta in apoptosis and cell cycle regulation;
3) Molecular mechanisms of C/EBPdelta-mediated drug resistance in human
urothelial carcinoma cells.
4) Exploration of alternative therapeutic strategies for chemo-drug resistance
by identification of novel compounds with diverse biological activities.
