Focus
My laboratory investigates the mechanisms of urothelial carcinoma development
and the exploration of potential therapeutic strategies. We aim to apply
the acquired knowledge to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of
human diseases and cancers in the future.
Research
Projects
The main projects are
1. We focus on the transcription factor CCAAT/enhancer binding protein
delta (CEBPD) to study its regulatory role in various signaling pathways
in cancer cells under different environmental factors and endogenous stress,
aiming to understand the role and mechanisms of CEBPD in cancer development.
2. We explore the molecular mechanisms behind urothelial carcinoma development
and the evolved chemoresistance.
3. We work on developing drugs to overcome chemoresistance in cancer cells
and investigate the underlying mechanisms.
